Fast Track Project – Kathmandu – Terai Expressway built by Nepal Army

Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh Expressway is a mega highway project prioritized as an "infrastructure of national pride" having strategic significance. After high level comprehensive consultation and thought process, the Government of Nepal on 21st Baisakhi 2074 BS decided to give the responsibility of construction management to Nepali Army.

The long awaited Expressway will be constructed along the pilot track opening which was initially developed by Nepali Army in 2069 BS. The NA is entrusted for this key responsibility due to its reputation and trust worthiness earned by timely constructing numerous road projects in past, amidst various hazardous conditions.

JEPL has supplied about 2000 mt of rebar and other products in this project of prime importance through their authorised distributor Build Infra Project Kathmandu.
