Lock Plates

Mild steel is much more malleable compared to stainless and so is used a lot in general fabrication.

A Plate to which the several parts of the lock of some firearms are attached and by which the whole is fastened to the stock by screws are defined as Lock Plates. Usually, they are adjusted with screw and not bolt as a base frame and which holds the whole structures uniformly and tightly.
